Ken was born in Salida, Colorado.

Professionally, he is a software developer.

He has two kids, currently 16 and 20, but this changes every year.

He has a partner, Julie - his favorite companion, friend, and enabler.

He has been a carpenter.

He has started up and run a tech consultancy, a restaurant, a wine bar, and a microbrewery.

He enjoys climbing rock and ice. He likes hiking mountains. He likes kayaking.

But most importantly, Ken is a sailor. Well, he is learning to be a sailor. But that seems like a lifelong journey, so he is calling himself a sailor now.
